Outliers girls volleyball is coming!
Our boys’ volleyball team was a bit unconventional, as we only had 6 players. Boys’ volleyball has been trying to become a “sanctioned” sport in North Carolina for 10 years. We put out a call for players and had 6 of the most committed players in any sport yet! We had a wide range of experience, from high-level club players to first-timers, and it was a successful season all around. We ended the regular season ranked #10. Unfortunately, due to state restrictions on homeschool teams, the Outliers were barred from postseason competition, which in turn brought their final rankings down to #34 after postseason play continued without them. The boys took it in stride and played every game with intensity and purpose, and their growth in the sport and their character development were phenomenal!
