He earned a degree in Kinesiology and played rugby at the University of Wyoming before commissioning into the Army, where he has served for over 19 years. Coach Mike is passionate about passing on his love of the game to all young athletes, as his dad did for him. His coaching emphasizes sound fundamentals, technical skill, and strong baseball IQ, while developing players with character, grit, and an understanding of what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves—all of which are essential to every aspect of an athlete’s life now and in the future.
